Shift Supervisor/Plant Operator(m/f/d)

Your Role

As a Shift Supervisor/Plant Operator (m/f/d) at our industrial site in Hallschlag, you will be a vital part of our team. You will be responsible for coordinating staff and ensuring that production orders are completed on time and up to our quality standards during your shift (morning, afternoon, and night shifts). Your central hub will be the modern control room, where you will manage and monitor the entire facility. From here, you communicate with your team and maintain a comprehensive overview.

Your Tasks
  • Monitoring and controlling the plant from our modern control room, maintaining oversight at all times.
  • Managing personnel planning and assigning tasks to the employees under your supervision. Additionally, you coordinate the onboarding of new employees across various work areas.
  • Supervising workflows and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
  • Acting as the contact point for work-related queries within your team and handling daily operational tasks.
  • Ensuring smooth shift handovers and working closely with production management.
  • Reporting maintenance and repair needs to the maintenance team, thus supporting the operational readiness of our facilities.
  • Proactively contributing to the achievement of quality and company objectives, viewing your role as a leadership position.
  • Ensuring proper documentation during your shift and assisting in data collection for valuable production metrics analysis.
your Profile
  • Successfully completed technical training or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in team leadership in a technical environment is desirable.
  • Conflict resolution skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel) is an advantage.
  • Structured working style, analytical and process-oriented thinking.
  • Willingness to work in a multi-shift operation.
